MARRIAGE LICENSE

AKA THE LEGAL STUFF

How Does This Work?

I’m here to craft and deliver your ideal wedding ceremony so your day is exactly what you want it to be! I know the process of selecting an officiant can be overwhelming, just as the process of getting married can be overwhelming! Reach out, let’s see if it's a good fit and check something off that ever growing to-do list!

1. Initial consultation: go over the general process and answer any questions you may have. Go over service agreement and deposit, and then start working through the ceremony. What do you want? Not want? Love? Hate? Additions? Special unity ceremonies? Let’s get it down! It's usually a good idea for both partners to be available for the consultation so we can hear how both sides feel and find some happy mediums!

2. Script Development: Once I receive your deposit, your date is secured and I will begin working on your ceremony. It usually takes me 7-10 days to write your ceremony.  I’ll email you a draft ceremony with multiple wording options for you to look at. You will then go through it and help me edit back and forth until we get it just right. The wording of your ceremony is always in your hands.

2.5. (Optional) Rehearsal: Do you feel a little nervous? Have a lot of people involved in your wedding? Didn't hire a coordinator? Just want to make sure any possible questions are answered before the big day? If so, having me attend your rehearsal may be a good idea!

3. Wedding Day: I will be there to conduct your ceremony with passion, empathy, and realism, after which I will guide you and your witnesses through signing your marriage license. I will then leave you to your celebration and turn in the legal paperwork on your behalf!

Let's connect and start developing your perfect ceremony, I would love nothing more than working with you on your special day!
